CLIMATE Action Frodsham – the new name for Frodsham Transition Initiative – is to put on a special event to encourage local people to take action for the future of the planet.
The “Big Green Day” will be held at Frodsham Community Centre on Saturday, October 1 from 10am to 4pm.
Entrance will be free – and everyone is welcome.
And if saving the planet is not enough to persuade people to attend, perhaps advice on how to save money on heating while still making your home warmer will be.
The Big Green Day has been organised by Climate Action Frodsham as
part of the national Great Big Green Week.
There will be talks, stalls, music and a question and answer session with local MP Mike Amesbury (pictured).
Nationally the Great Big Green Week will bring together people from every corner
of the country to celebrate the heartfelt, brave, everyday actionsbeing taken to stand up for nature and fight climate change.
Last year, more than 5000 events took place, and this year many more are
expected.
