Howey Lane to be closed to traffic for road works

SECTIONS of Howey Lane, Frodsham will be temporarily closed to traffic on Monday (July 10) while road works are carried out.
Cheshire West and Chester Council has made an order for the temporary closure while they carry out patch defects in the road surface.
Nothing in the order will prohibit the use of the road by any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair. Emergency vehicles will also be allowed to use the road.
A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on Howey Lane should use alternative routes.
The closure will come into force on Monday and will be in force for a maximum of five days.
However, it is anticipated that the work will take only one day.
