Manor House pupils go shopping at Frodsham Market

FRODSHAM Manor House Primary School reception class – named Milne Class after the author of Winnie the Pooh – enjoyed a stroll down to Frodsham Market.
They have been learning about ways to be more eco-friendly, including walking when they can, and have been finding out about what it means to shop local and support local businesses.
Pupils looked at different stalls to find out what you can buy on a market and discussed why Frodsham is a market town.
There was also a life skills maths lesson when buying their fruit snacks.
Teacher Debbie Hughes said: “The class showed excellent manners and their natural curiosity and enquiry skills shone through. We all had a great time learning about Frodsham and why we love our town.”
