FRODSHAM-based law firm Rowlinsons has announced that employee Nicky Jones has completed her legal training and is now a qualified solicitor on their commercial property team.
She will work with individual and corporate clients on matters such as lease work, purchases and development of land, landlord and tenant matters and leasehold enfranchisement.
During her training Nicky also gained experience in dealing with multi-million pound re-financing for new build development schemes and worked with SIPP Providers to purchase commercial property into pension funds and provide ongoing support.
Nicky started her training contract with Rowlinsons in 2020 and completed the Legal Practice Course the previous year.
Director and head of property Tom Parkinson said: “Nicky’s success is well deserved and is the result of many years of hard work. Having previously worked as a Youth Offending Service officer and court officer Nicky has already shown tremendous commitment to changing her career path as exemplified by her not only securing a distinction on the Legal Practice Course, but also a high commendation on the Graduate Diploma in Law.
“We’re delighted she has qualified with the firm I wish her the best of luck as she moves forward in the next stage of her career.”
Nicky said: “The last two years have been fantastic and also challenging. Working remotely whilst undertaking a training contract is not ideal, but the support I received from the firm was outstanding. My colleagues were always on hand to provide advice and assistance. I would particularly like to thank Mike Daly for sharing his expertise and experience in all aspects of property law.”
