THE annual World Book Day provided plenty of fun at Frodsham Manor House Primary School.
Pupils and staff took the opportunity to dress up as their favourite characters from books they had read.
But World Book day is far more than an excuse to dress up.
It is celebrated by more than 100 countries worldwide as a special day to celebrate reading,.
It was launched by the United Nationas Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in 1995 although it was first celebrated in the UK in 1997.
