RESIDENTS of Frodsham and Helsby are being warned to expect extremely strong winds when Storm Eunice arrives in the area on Thursday evening.
A yellow weather warning for strong gusts of wind has been issued by the Met Office.
The warning follows a similar one for Storm Dudley is expected to hit northernmost areas of England and Scotland from Wednesday afternoon.
Storm Eunice is expected to bring very strong winds that could cause “significant disruption.”
There is said to be a small chance of a danger to life from flying debris, falling trees and damage to roofs and power lines.
There is also a possibility for snow and blizzard conditions, although this is more likely further north.
But most places will be hit by heavy rain.
