Lands of Beds charity champs say thanks – as the money still rolls in

THE team from Land of Beds who tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks for charity have now raised more than £4,000.
It was the hottest day of the year – but the team of nine battled through the heat to climb Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Afterwards, Land of Beds managing director Mike Murray said: “I just want to thank everybody for their generosity in supporting us on our Three Peak Challenge – we are happy to report that we completed our mission. It was incredibly tough, but so worthwhile.
“The charity – Cheshire-based mental health charity Platform for Life – have been overwhelmed by your support and the our current fund raising stands at just over £4,000.
“Just to give you an idea – £4,000 means the charity can provide 100 counselling/play therapy sessions for families – parents, children and young people struggling with mental health and poverty. Your support really does make a big difference to the families they work with.
“Again, on behalf of Land of Beds and Platform for Life we are incredible thankful and grateful for all your support.”
