Harry Potter’s wedding at Manor House School

FRODSHAM Manor House Primary School held their annual Key Stage One “wedding” – with the ceremony taking place at Frodsham Methodist Church.
The wedding takes places each summer as part of the school’s RE curriculum on Life Events and links to Relationships Education.
Pupils worked together to design the vows and write a poem about what they think love is
The theme of the wedding this – picked by the children – was Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley and the bridal party entered to Harry’s Wonderous World and exited to Little Mix’s Black Magic.
The songs were The Magic Penny, Rewrite the Stars and This Little Light of Mine.
There was almost a Runaway Bride, due to illness, but a new bride stepped in at 15 minutes notice.
Members of pupils’ families dressed for the occasion and the school’s lunchtime staff who prepared a themed dinner for the reception.
