TWO fire crews and the air ambulance helped rescue a walker who suffered a broken leg while walking on Helsby Hill.
Crews from Lymm & Powey Lane worked with Paramedics, HART Team & Helimed Staff to rescue the female who had fallen on Helsby Hill and broke her leg on Wednesday evening around 6:20pm.
Crews located the casualty using What3Words and assisted paramedics and the HART Team. A plan was formulated with the teams to bring the casualty off the hill by Air Ambulance and they were then transported to hospital for further treatment.
