Police investigate fire on Frodsham playground

POLICE are investigating after a fire on a children’s playground at Frodsham.
Firefighters who were called to the scene in Chester Road suspect the blaze, under a slide, was started deliberately. Vandals are being blamed – probably young males.
The fire was extinguished by the firefighters and there was no damage to other play equipment on the site.
Firefighters were also called to Delamere Road, Norley to deal with an unattended bonfire. They used beaters and a water back pack to put out the flames
