POLICE are investigating after a suspected arson incident at Frodsham last night (Monday)
The fire was in Princeway and one fire engine from Frodsham Fire Station went to the scene.
In the event, it was a small fire and no property was threatened. Firefighters used their water backpacks to extinguish the fire.
They notified police because they suspected the fire had been caused by deliberate ignition.
No damage was reported.
In an earlier incident, firefighters were called to a fire involving a wheelie bin in Martin Road, Frodsham. Police were informed on this occasions also as it was suspected the blaze had been started deliberately.
