POLICE are keeping a close watch on Queensway, Frodsham, after arsonists struck twice within the space of an hour.
Firefighters from Frodsham were called out twice on Tuesday evening – shortly after 5pm and then again just after 6pm.
Both fires were in the open and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish them. There were no reports of damage to property in either case.
But in each case, firefighters decided the fires had been started deliberately and called in police
