LAURA Wenton who lives in Frodsham has been crowned Miss Face Of The World England and will now go on to compete in the international finals that take place in Birmingham this December.
The renowned Face Of The World is the first International Competition offering a joint platform for both male and female contestants to represent their country from around the world to take on the challenge to win the ultimate title Face Of The World!
Laura has previously won beauty titles such as Miss Wirral, Miss Frodsham, and the national title Miss English Rose that took her to the Dominican Republic to compete in Miss Swimsuit USA.
She has a degree in musical theatre and has performed in numerous venues across the U.K. She will be playing the role of Maid Marion In Robin Hood this Christmas at the cresset Theatre Peterborough. The company Premier Pantomimes have very kindly allowed her to have the day off so She can compete in the Face Of The World Grand Final.
Laura follows proudly in her parent’s footsteps. Her mother, Tricia Liedl is a singer, actress and former beauty queen, winning major titles such as Miss Lovely Legs Of Great Britain, runner up Miss England and Miss Coal Queen Great Britain.
Laura’s late father Bernard Wenton won the series of The TV show ‘Stars in their eyes’ as Nat King Cole.
Laura said “I can’t believe I won Miss face of the World England!! There were so many beautiful, lovely girls competing for the title. I was shocked that I won!
I am very excited to now go on and represent England in the grand final and meet all the other contestants from across the world”
